Sr. Director, Generation Fuels and Market Analysis, Edison Electric Institute
Lola Infante is Sr. Director of Generation Fuels and Market Analysis at the Edison Electric Institute, where she focuses mainly on market and policy developments in clean and alternative energy resources as well as other critical fuels for power generation. Lately, she has been focusing mainly on solar energy, energy storage, and distributed energy resources. She is a frequent speaker on these issues at many technical and policy groups, has authored several articles and papers on energy related topics, and participates in several industry committees.
Prior to joining EEI, she worked at the Center for the Advancement of Energy Markets, a Washington DC think tank, and at GAB-Robins in Paris, France, where she worked in marketing and corporate finance. She holds a BA from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, a master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Paris Sorbonne, a master’s degree in Energy, Environment, Science, and Technology, and a PhD from the Johns Hopkins University on the subject of the liberalization of the electricity industry in the European Union.
